How CE Canvas compares with engagement platforms and AI tools
CE Canvas is community engagement software that turns an organization’s engagement strategy and framework into the way every project is planned, delivered and reported. It works alongside participation platforms such as EngagementHQ, Social Point (formerly Social Pinpoint) and PublicInput, and alongside general AI assistants such as Copilot and ChatGPT.

Common questions when comparing tools
Does CE Canvas replace our online engagement platform?
No. Online engagement tools such as EngagementHQ, Social Point and PublicInput collect participation. CE Canvas is the practice layer behind them: planning against your framework, decision scope, approvals, analysis and report-back. You keep your platform and bring what it collects into one project record.
How is CE Canvas different from Copilot or ChatGPT?
The model is not the difference. The CE Canvas AI assistant works from the project record, holds drafts to the level of engagement the project has set, lists the sources behind every finding and keeps drafts as previews until a person applies them. Most teams use both: a general assistant for everyday writing and CE Canvas for the engagement.
